Job Corps

This Zippo, which was manufactured in 1968, was engraved for the Job Corps, particularly, the one located in Trapper Creek, Alaska. The Job Corps educates youth from low-income families and gives them the skills they need to enter the workforce. The Job Corps was formed in 1964 by the United States Department of Labor and is still a popular government program today.

Nye Implement Co., Inc.

This Zippo, which was manufactured in 1964, was engraved for Nye Implement Co., Inc, located in Fostoria, Ohio. Unfortunately, since this was such a small company there is close to no information about it online.

Itasca Tire Co.

This is one of the most unique Zippos I've seen. This Zippo, which was manufactured in 1963, is engraved for Itasca Tire Co., which I believe was a small manufacturer of tires. According to the little information I can find online, Itasca Tire Co. was located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I like this Zippo for it's obscurity and graphics

Eaton Yale & Towne Inc. - Trojan Tractor Shovels

This lighter, which dates to 1965, was engraved for Eaton Yale & Towne Inc., advertising their line of tractor shovels. Today, Eaton is a major American Corporation.

Austin Ford Logan Inc.

This Zippo, which dates to 1974, was engraved for Austin Ford Logan Inc.. There doesn't appear to be much information online about this company, other than that it was located in the state of New York.

Hudson Blue & Photo Print Co., Inc.

This Zippo, which was manufactured in 1960, was engraved for Hudson Blue & Photo Print Co., Inc.. Unfortunately, I can't find much information online about this company, but I'm glad to have this lighter as a part of my collection.

West Branch Beverage

This Zippo gets the point across about how even the smallest companies had Zippos engraved for them. This lighter, which dates to 1968, was engraved for West Branch Beverage, which I believe is located in West Branch, Michigan. Searching the name on the internet, came up with a business called "Griffin Beverage Company", which has been serving Michigan since 1967. Griffin Beverage Company is still located in West Branch, MI. Another thing I like about this Zippo is how it also has a couple of well known beer logos engraved.

Penn-M-Co

This interesting Zippo was engraved for Penn-M-Co, located in Washington, Pennsylvania. This lighter dates to 1957. Unfortunately, I can't find much information online about this company.

Columbia Gas System

This Zippo, which dates to 1954, is one of my favorites. It was engraved for Columbia Gas System, which was one of the largest natural gas companies of the time. This particular lighter was engraved for employee, "GE Wilson", thanking him for working safely. One thing I really like is how the lighter is dated 10-15-54, so I know the age of the lighter.

Caterpillar

This Zippo was engraved for Caterpillar, the well-known heavy equipment manufacturer. This Zippo dates to 1956. This one looks to have been gifted to an employee named "Billy Woods".
